First quarter.
Mattson kicks off, Meeker goes 3 and out, punting on 4th down. Mattson slowly moves the ball with a couple drives and turns the ball over. Meeker throws a 50 yard pass completion over the middle to their end who outruns everyone for a TD. Kick is missed. Score= 6-0.
After the kickoff, Mattson has a few gains on short passes and runs, seems to control the ball most of the first half, but the Meeker defense stops them short of the endzone. Halftime score is 6-0.
Meeker kicks off. Mattson can't get through the middle, around the outside or in the air. The gains they do get are short, and the two teams trade possesions like this. Some where in here, Meeker fumbles to Mattson. Two plays later, Mattson gets the ball knocked loose and Meeker has it on their 30. A TD pass/ run and score = 12-0.
In the 4th quarter, it's all Meeker. Lots of big defense and good running earns another TD, and these kids were pumped up and having fun. That carries over to a final running TD with a couple minutes left, and they make the extra point. Score = 20-0.
Weakness= Kicking extra points (made 1 for 3).
Strengths=WOW! No penalties. Good punting. Hard hits on defense. Stopped Mattson's running game inside and out. Containment of sweeps. Good offensive line blocks. Good blocking downfield. These guys played a wonderful football game.
