Money is plentiful for those who understand the simple rules of its acquisition.

Introduction:
Babylon became the richest city of the ancient world because its citizens were the richest people of their time. They appreciated the value of money. They practised sound financial principals in acquiring money, keeping money and making their money earn more money. They provided for themselves what we all desire...income for the future.

1. Start thy purse to fattening.
A part of all you earn is yours to keep. Pay yourself first. Take one coin out of ten for investments. Put the one coin to laboring so it produces a stream of wealth that flows constantly into your purse.

2. Control thy expenditures
Budget thy expenses that thou may havest coins to pay for thy necessities, to pay for thy enjoyments ...without spending more than 9/10s of your earnings.

3. Make thy gold multiply
Consult with wise men, secure advise of those experienced in profitable handling of gold. They are happy to freely give this advise.

4. Guard thy treasures from loss.

5. Make of thy dwelling a profitable investment.
Own thy own home. Greatly will it reduce his cost of living and make more available for the gratification of desires. If any part of the 9/10s can be turned into profitable investment , then so much faster treasure will grow. So don't pay rent. Money lenders gladly consider the desires of men who seek homes and lands for their families.

6. Insure a future income.

7. Increase thy ability to earn.
Preceeding accomplishment must be desire. Thy desires must be strong and definite. Cultivate thy own powers to study and become wiser, more skillful, to so act as to respect thyself. Plan certain investments that may endure safely for a long time . Pay a small regular sum to the money lender regularly. Insure family whereby many men make a trifling payment regularly, the aggregate making a handsome sum for the family of each member who has passed to the beyond.

Meet the godess of good luck
To attract good luck to oneself, it is nessecary to take advantage of opportunities. Procrastination kills good luck. Men of action are favored by good luck.

RULES of GOLD
Gold comes gladly and in increased quantity to any man who will put by less than one tenth of his earnings to create an estate for his future and that of his family.
Gold slips away when invested in businesses or purposes with which he is not familiar.
Gold flees the man who would force it to impossible earnings.
